What are the kinds of contracts that you may enter with your agent?

You and your agent may agree with a sole letting contract. This gives your agent the sole right to market or bid your house. And you still have to give compensation to your agent even if you find an occupant yourself.

You may also sign a sole agency contract wherein the agent also has the sole right to market or bid your house but if it is you who got the buyer, you need not pay the agent.

The multi agency contract allows you to hire multiple agents but you only need to pay for that who successfully sold it.

The ready, willing, and able purchaser contract on the other hand, contemplates that if the agent contacted a buyer for you, but if later in the course of the transaction, the buyer suddenly declines the offer for legal reasons, you still have to pay the agent.

Agent recommendations from friends, relatives, or other acquaintances are very much valuable since you can be rest assured of the efficiency of their work as attested by those close to you or by those whom you personally know. If you cannot let go of work and entertain buyers, then it is better for you to call up an agent who is trustworthy and reliable..
