How To Sell My House Quickly Through One Click of the Camera

Alice in Wonderland once asked, “What is the use of a book without pictures...?” In the same train of thought, what is the use of including your house in a market listing without even posting with it the  proper pictures? How would your house sell quickly if you provided the onlookers and potential buyers with only a single sordid picture of your front lawn?

People who  browse among the list of houses that are up for sale would quicklyly lose interest with a house that only shows a few pitiful pictures of what it looks like. In order to effectively sell your house, you have to furnish decent shot for people to get a glimpse of what should they anticipate if ever they decide to buy your house.

You must not take these photos for granted. Sometimes poor photos are the reasons why some houses stink in the listings, and they stay there for a year or more and ended up as the stale bread in the bakeshop shelves.

Here are some simple tips to make sure that your house sell quickly through the use of pictures:

1. Make sure that there is ample lighting when you are shooting your pictures. You do not want your pictures to be too dark, but you don't want them to be overexposed too. The best time to take pictures is an hour after sunrise in the morning, and also late in the afternoon.

2. When shooting the front yard and the  facade of your house, follow the theory of thirds rule. Divide the frame of the camera vertically by three and put the house on the 1/3 division. You do not necessarily need to put the house in the middle. Remember selling a home is also an art. Add some aesthetic flair in your photos.

3. If possible, shoot more wide angle shots. Take time to look around and capture the best angle of the different rooms in your house.

4. More pictures should be taken in the kitchen since it is one of the most important parts of the household. Remember to clean the kitchen first and neatly stack the cups and dishes before you press click.

5. Before making the shot in the dining hall, take time to “groom” the dining table to perfection.

6. Take pictures of your front lawn and back yard too.

7. You can also write creative captions to make the pictures more alive.

8. And the most important thing: Please do yourself a favor and do not pose in the photos. It's a turn off for majority of the persons here.

After finishing, you can now put your house in the market listing. With great photos to back you up, selling your house will be as quickly as a thief in the night.
